About Dawson County United SC

DCU is a GSSA affiliated Dawsonville soccer club created and run by life long soccer players and coaches with the purpose of providing a high level of education and training while fostering a new love and respect for the world’s most popular sport. Our goal is to create a club that Dawsonville and Dawson County Residents will be proud to be a part of, and we will draw the core of our strength from community involvement.

The founders have combined over 30 years of experience playing for, coaching, and administrating successful soccer programs and leagues as well as training young players of many levels. Serving as volunteers, we also understand the true value a soccer program can hold for children and parents who participate. The founders also hold a deep-rooted interest in the community at large, as we are local business owners, community volunteers, and as parents of Dawson County school children.

As a GSSA affiliated club, we adhere to the rules and bylaws established by the state organization. These rules have been developed over years of testing and have proven to be beneficial to player development and their enjoyment of the game.
